very helpful. made me feel happy with the concerns about selling due to the fact my old agent was no good. they sold my house within 4 weeks from taking it off the other agent that had it for 5 months advertised. thank you. kirk shepard is honest and hard working providing me with clear information and feedback all the way through the process.

i was happy to go with kingswood to help me rent my house. within 1 week they sourced and vetted the tenant. arrange for removals of furniture which the previous tenant left behind. also they made the signing and communications easy via online. Ajay kept me in the know all throughout the process and i felt at ease with jis and kingswood approach.

The first review on this site (Claire) is for a letting agents called Countrywide, not Countyrwide Assured. With respect to the Counrtywide Assured call centre in Preston, they always answer the phone promptly and are very polite. My advice though is that if you wish to withdraw money form a pension scheme that is held with these people, you start the process at least two months before you want the money. They only use the snail mail. Initially they send you a massive pile of paperwork, in my case duplicates for all the different policy numbers I have. Then when I sent the forms in two of the forms which I am sure I included were not recieved. To get duplicates of the forms took a number of calls and a wait of two weeks. Now even though I have asked for payment of the funds into the same account they were paid from then I get another letter sent through slow mail, saying they need proof that it is my account. To cap it all 75% of the money will be taxed at some emergency rate possibly of 40% (Actually 20% for small withdrawals) so I have to wait to be able to claim any of that back. The logic to all this is security - fair point many people are trying to get at other peoples pension cash. but my fear is that brakes are being put on to people taking money from schemes, and we can only guess why that may be happening. I just hope they have all the money that they say they have. But in hindsight the returns I have got from my earlier save & prosper account (which becoame countrywide) were not to bad. Most of the issues I have are non optimal communi ations between the call centre and the people who process the withdrawals.
