The hotel itself is quite old, but well maintained. Good cozy rooms, breakfast spread is excellent. TV Channels are not as best as one would like..
Nice weekend bought place and central but not enough parking and too many changes going on around town....could do with someone there to redirect, when their own is full.

We enjoyed our brief stay here. It is conveniently close to the motorway but we did not find it noisy at night. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was available but we were in a hurry to press on with our journey. There is a bar, with a range of drinks, should you wish to enjoy them. Staff were welcoming, helpful and pleasant to deal with
Have just had a smashing night staying here. Staff were really friendly and helpful from the minute we arrived. Our bed was very comfortable and the room well laid out. Breakfast was hot and plenty of it. Well done. Will definitely return.

Stayed for 2 nights. First night we had a double room but there was a problem with the shower, on speaking to the owner they gave us another room with 2 double beds we were very happy with this. Breakfast was excellent and service excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would come again and recommend it to anyone. Visited local attractions in the area
Lovely people and a lovely b and b. Very stylish and clean. Breakfast nice. Friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend. Great price

Brilliant food and a wonderful atmosphere, the staff are friendly and attentive.
One of the hidden gems of Preston. A great food selection and normally 3 real ales on tap. My sister, nephews and I always eat here when in town.

Mariners Way, Preston PR2 2YN, UK – 01772 760673
Just stopped a quick drink to sit outside whilst the children played. It was really busy inside and there was a bit off a queue. Staff were efficient and we were served by a lovely young girl called Ellie. Happy days!!
We spent the weekend in Preston (don't laugh, girlfriend had a training thingybob to go to, so we made a weekend of it). During my adventuring to find somewhere chilled to walk the dog, I walked past the Ribble Pilot a few times and couldn't help noticing that it was a nice and fresh looking pub that didn't feel pretentious. On our last evening in Preston we decided to give it a try. The "No dogs allowed" signs meant we had to leave it until it'd cooled off a bit so the pup could be safely left in the car, but one antler and a handful of bribery-bones later, and we'd managed to escape in to the pub. First thoughts of the Ribble Pilot were "oh god, another chain pub" - it's got that feel on entry of a 1990s Brewer's Fayre or Hungry Horse, but my perceptions changed very quickly when we looked at the specials board, very prominent as we walked in the door - just reading the specials board, I could feel the drool forming on the corner of my lips. We found a table, sat down, as you do, and then the experience earned its stars. We were fully expecting to have to do the bar service thing, but to our surprise, enter Emily.. a bubbly and (on the outside) genuinely happy member of the pub's team. Nothing was too much trouble, taking our order, doing a check-back that actually felt like she meant it, and making a pub lunch a more enjoyable experience than the mediocre you've come to expect in 99% of places. The Ribble Pilot knows what it is - there are no shoddy masquerades here, no ill-placed French words on the menu; it's a pub. It does good, honest, and really tasty pub grub in a very good way. The starters were well-sized to match the generous portions, and the whole experience tasted fresh and like the chef had actually had some input in their menu - something so rare to find in so many chains. The fact the menu is 2 for 1 means that everything is priced at a slight premium, but obviously with the mindset that it's all going to be discounted at the end. The only let down here - and usually I'd knock a star or two off for it - the gent's toilets.. like so many pubs, the uncanny stench of a stale cess-pit is overwhelming the second you walk in the door. I'd love to see this pub open up itself, or at least its beer garden to dogs, it would have been great to have the pup under the table with us rather than having to be left in the car.

Excellent staff. Clean rooms. Friendly atmosphere. The breakfast was lovely. Sarah was really very helpful and after our very long journey helped us get settled in and relaxed.
Clean larger than average rooms, beds very comfortable. Although rooms in the front of the building are quite noisy due to the busy road directly outside. Food was the best i have had in any Travelodge. Staff very friendly and chatty. Car parking could be a problem if you have a larger car due to the nature of the car park. It is an old mill building and there are pillars everywhere. Although the staff will help you park if you have any difficulties.

Good value for money. Rooms are nice. Have drink facilities and a hairdryer! Beds are very comfy easy to book and right in the middle of town. Can't ask for more
Overnight stay in a twin room at Preston Central. Standard Premier Inn amenities, clean, serviceable and friendly staff. Pullout bed not the comfiest, however good bathroom facilities (plenty of hot water even on a Sunday morning!). Breakfast is amazing for £9, all you can eat and bottomless drinks. Couldn't find any better breakfast deals in the local vicinity. There is no designated car park so check the parking before you arrive. £8 in Euro Car Park on St Wilfreds Road is the nearest option, but it is a good 5 min walk away and not the easiest to find. Would recommend but figure out the logistics before you arrive.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
