Good night out

Evoque

151 Church St, Preston PR1 3BU, UK – 01772 252882

Good music , nice staff , cheap drinks , nice club.

Had my birthday celebrations in here last weekend! Apart from the slight mix-up at front desk upon arrival, the night was fantastic overall! I would definitely recommend to book in advance though as the club is generally very busy on a weekend! Thank you EVOQUE! xxx

Perfect 10s

10 Lune St, Preston PR1 2NL, UK – 01772 558668

Great place, nice decor. The hostess made sure i was sitting properly by applying pressure to my thigh. Great place to test your self control. I find sitting on my hands works best.

Ingol Village Golf Club

Sheraton Park, Preston PR2 7BY, UK – 01772 723898

Excellent course for the price, really good condition for December. Friendly staff and members. Read previous reviews before coming and after playing these seem extremely harsh. Will definitely be back

Nice place. Friendly staff. Spacious clubhouse. Good parking.

Preston Golf Club

Fulwood Hall Lane, Fulwood, Preston PR2 8DD, UK – 01772 700011

Preston Golf Club is a great course to test all abilities. The greens are first class and among the best in the north-west. Has a driving range, club house, putting green, chipping and bunker area. The only criticism I have about the course is that it is a bit scruffy in places, however recently this has improved. I do hope they will keep it as tidy as it is at this moment in time.

Great food

DW Sports Fitness - Preston

Port Way, Preston PR2 2YQ, UK – 0844 372 5367

Very pleasant and clean. The gym layout and classes the gym put on are second to none

Does what it says on the tin, without frills. Needs strong management to refocus the staff on their tasks ( especially at weekends). Cleanliness needs more attention.

Preston Sea Cadets

Strand Rd, Preston PR1 8DT, UK – 01772 883882

We are 100 this year Preston Sea Cadets is a voluntary uniformed youth charity organisation. We are part of the National Sea Cadet organisation with over 400 units and 10,000 members. Preston Sea Cadets provides young people aged 10 - 18 years (13 to 18 years for Royal Marine Cadets) with valuable academic and vocational training in a number of subjects including the life skills of teamwork, self-respect and social responsibility - the core qualities of good citizenship. TS GALLOWAY provides these educational and training opportunities right in the heart of the community. Preston Sea Cadet Unit Headquarters was originally a hospital in the First World War (1914). At that time it was situated on Moor Park and was one of several buildings of a similar construction. As far as is known this is the only one left. 1920 Preston Sea Cadet Unit moved to another location in Preston before it arrived on its present site on Strand Road, Preston. PR1 8DT. The first Sea Cadet unit was established in 1854 at Whitstable in Kent, created by communities wanting to give young people instruction on a naval theme. Traditionally old seafarers provided training while local businessmen funded the Unit Headquarters. The tradition of community - based Sea Cadet Units continues today with 400 across the UK each with charitable status enabling them to raise funds to meet their running costs. All Units are members of the Sea Cadet Corps and are governed by the national charity MSSC - the Marine Society & Sea Cadets. We work partnership with the Royal Navy under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and receive corporate support from commercial shipping companies and the Maritime sector. Our core purpose is to celebrate Britain's maritime heritage and contribute to its future development by supporting young people as Sea Cadets.
